Abstract
This invention provides a method for the quantitation and quality assurance of QPCR data. In particular, the invention provides a method for extracting data curves from a QPCR assay, estimating the shape and characteristics of an amplification curve and producing a quality score metric. The invention also provides a robust method for calculating a threshold cycle (C) value and classifying the status of the QPCR results.
