Abstract
A portable electronic device () with camera module includes a main body (), a cover (), and a connecting mechanism (). The main body has a receiving cavity () defined therein. The cover has a camera module disposed thereon and facing the main body. The camera module is received in the receiving cavity of the main body. The connecting mechanism includes two connecting poles () each of which is arranged on its respective one of the two sides of the main body and the cover, each connecting pole is rotatably connected with the main body and the cover so that when the cover is driven upwards relative to the main body the camera module is removed from the receiving cavity as the cover slides relative to the main body.
