Abstract
A gas bag module for an occupant restraint system in a vehicle includes a gas bag and a housing. The gas bag () is accommodated in the housing and has a tab (). The tab () is attached on the exterior side of the housing such that the tab () separates from the housing during a deployment of the gas bag ().
