Abstract
The invention relates to an assembled piston () for an internal combustion engine, said piston consisting of an upper part () provided with a combustion cavity (), and a lower part () that is screwed to the upper part () by means of a screw () which is arranged coaxially to the piston axis (). Said screw () is embodied as a set screw comprising a hexagon socket (') on the inner side of the piston and a head (″) on the bottom side of the piston, the head (″) forming part of the bottom of the combustion cavity () and being flush therewith () in the screwed state.
