Abstract
The present disclosure relates to bacteriophage lysins useful for the reduction of certain bacterial populations, including methods and compositions for the treatment of various bacterial infections. For example, bacteriophage lysins were isolated and shown to effectively kill various bacteria, including bothand(including vancomycin resistant strains), as well as other human pathogens.
