Abstract

A deviceincludes a substratehaving an integrated circuit (IC) diecoupled thereto. A bond wireinterconnects a die bond padon the IC diewith an insulated bond pad. Another bond wireinterconnects a die bond padon the IC diewith another insulated bond pad. The bond wiresandserve as radiating elements of a dipole antenna structure. A reflectorand directorcan be located on the substrateand/or the IC dieto reflect and/or direct a radiation patternemitted by or received by the antenna structure. A tracecan be interconnected between the insulated bond padsto form a folded dipole antenna structure
