A method is described for applying a double sealing system to an electro-technical device and an electro-technical device with a double seal. Said Electro-technical device has; a container () housing a functional unit () and including one aperture () provided with a cover (), wherein said cover has a first face () abutting an annular surface () which borders said aperture (); a first sealing joint () accommodated in a first groove () provided in the first face () of the annular surface (), a second groove () provided on said first face () of the annular surface (), and surrounding the first groove (), said second groove () having a closed concavity not directly accessible from the exterior of the electro-technical device () when the cover is applied to the annular surface (). Said device further has a first channel () for connecting the second groove () to a first external point of injection () and a second sealing joint (), made by injection molding of a sealing substance () after the cover has been applied to said annular surface, provided in the second groove ().
