An optical pickup and an optical disk apparatus of the invention includes a light sourcemounted with a light-emitting element constituted of a monoblock on a surface of a plateand emitting plural light beams, a light-receiving element, optical membersand a coupling basefor coupling the light source, the light-receiving elementand the optical members, wherein a light from the light sourceis directed through the optical memberstoward an optical disk, and a returning light from the optical disk is guided through the optical membersto the light-receiving element, characterized in that the plateprovided in the light sourceand the coupling baseare adjoined by a solder.
