Abstract

The use of certain tetrazole compounds as fungicides is disclosed wherein said compounds are of the structural formula: wherein:R is selected from the group consisting of phenyl groups of the structural formula: and thienyl groups of the structural formula: andX and Y are each selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, haloalkyl, halogen, and nitro. Novel compounds wherein X is selected from the group consisting of haloalkyl, halogen, and nitro and Y is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, haloalkyl, halogen, and nitro are also disclosed.
