Abstract
A support () is disclosed for use with food service equipment. The support has a tubular upper portion () and a tubular lower portion () telescopically mounted within the upper portion for adjustable vertical movement. The upper portion has a support body () and a steel, externally threaded stud (). The lower portion includes a plastic, tubular foot () having a channel () with a t-shaped portion defined by a first portion () and a second portion (). The lower portion also includes a t-shaped metal insert () mounted within the t-shaped portion of the channel. The insert is threaded onto the bottom end of the threaded stud for threaded vertical movement along the stud.
