Abstract
The invention relates to a compound of the formula (VII) to an odoriferous substance or aroma composition comprising such a compound, and to a perfumed or aromatized product comprising such a compound. The invention furthermore relates to the use of a compound of the formula (VII) as an odoriferous substance and/or for improving fixation of an odoriferous substance or aroma composition. The invention moreover relates to a method for producing a compound of the formula (VII), to a method for producing a precursor of the compound of the formula (VII) and to the precursor itself. It moreover relates to a method for producing, enhancing or modifying a sandalwood odor in a mixture.
