A hand-held drive-in tool for driving fastening elements, includes a driving ram () displaceably arranged in a guide (), a drive unit () for displacing the driving ram (), a press-on element () for controlling the safety element () of the drive unit () and spring-biased in a drive-in direction, and a device for changing a biasing force applied to the press-on element () dependent on a special orientation of the press-on element () relative to a vector (G) of a gravitational force.
