The invention relates to an insulation material board composed of a wood material/binder fiber mixture and to a method for producing an insulation material board, in which an additive () with a thermally resistant core () and with a thermally activatable coating () is added to the mixture, and the thermally activatable coating () is activated by the supply of heat.
