Abstract

A method for modifying the appearance of a substrate is disclosed. The method includes providing a substrate having first and second opposing surfaces and depositing a reflectance modifying coating on at least a portion of the first surface of the substrate, wherein the second surface has a visible light reflectance (R) ranging from 5 to 20 percent.
