A system for providing advice on photographing is constructed under the circumstance where a user side personal computerand a server side personal computerare connected via a network. Photographed image data are transferred to the server side personal computerfrom the user side personal computer. The server side personal computeranalyzes the received image data. The server side personal computerprepares an advice related to a photographing method based on the results of analysis and transfers it to the user side personal computer
