Abstract

When a plurality of information signal processing apparatuses are connected via IEEE 1394 communication control buses, these buses are connected via bridges, and bus reset occurs on a remote bus other than connected buses (step S), occurrence of remote bus reset is notified (steps S, S). Thus, even if bus reset occurs, the consistency of bus reset processing in an upper protocol layer can be ensured to realize normal data communication between buses.
