Abstract
Disclosed are nucleic acid segments comprising synthetically-modified genes encoding Coleopteran-toxicδ-endotoxins. Also disclosed are methods of using these genes for the recombinant expression of polypeptides, the preparation of vectors containing the genes, and methods for transforming suitable host cells.
