N-fatty acid-amino acid conjugates and Jprostanoid-amino acid conjugates are disclosed along with methods for making such conjugates and methods of using these conjugates in the treatment of conditions that involve dysfunctional lipid metabolism, insulin sensitivity, glucose homeostasis, and/or inflammation.
