Abstract
A thermal printhead (A) includes electrodes (-) embedded in a glaze layerat least at a portion laminated with a resistor (). Favorably, the portion of the electrodes (-) laminated with the resistor () is sunk to a depth causing the surfaces of the electrodes to be flush with the surface of the glaze layer. Such structure enhances the heat transfer efficiency from a heating portion () of the resistor () to a thermal recording medium, and smooth transfer of thermal recording paper.
