Abstract

An intermittent urethra self-retaining catheter setcomprises a catheter unit, a disinfectant casing, and a cap. The catheter unitincludes a catheter bodyhaving an urine-guiding passageand a water-guiding passagethat extend along a longitudinal direction and are separated from each other, a balloonattached to a distal end of the catheter bodyin an inflatable manner and communicated to the water-guiding passage, an elastic plugattached to an intermediate portion of the catheter body, a branched tubebranched from the catheter bodyabove the elastic plugand communicated to the water-guiding passage, a reservoirattached to a free end of the branched tubein a collapsible manner for storing a sterilized water, an on-off valveattached to an intermediate portion of the branched tube, and a reinforcement tubeinserted into an upper interior of the urine-guiding passagein the catheter body. The disinfectant casingis detachably fitted on the elastic plug in a sealing manner for containing a lower part of the catheter bodybelow the elastic plugand for storing a disinfectant liquid. The capis detachably fitted on a top portion of the catheter bodyfor opening and closing an outlet port. The on-off valveis adapted to open and close a passage in which the sterilized waterflows between the reservoirand the balloon
