Abstract
Provided is an ink-jet recording apparatus equipped with an ink set included from n types (n is an integral number where n≧2), wherein the ratio of viscosity of ink of the minimum viscosity/viscosity of ink of the maximum viscosity in the ink set is 0.6 or less; wherein viscosity at 20° C. of the respective inks of the ink set is set to V, V, . . . , Vi, . . . , Vn (where Vis the maximum viscosity); wherein the nozzle resolution of a discharge nozzle allocated to the respective inks is set to R, R, . . . , Ri, . . . , Rn; and wherein when coefficient ki=Vi/V, (i is an arbitrary integral number of 1 to n), 0.8×ki×R≦Ri≦1.2×ki×R, and 0.2≦ki≦1.0 is realized for every i.
