Abstract
In order to facilitate setting of a printer's function, a computer program product executed in a server computer connected to a printer and a client computer includes computer instructions for transmitting an HTML file to the client computer, wherein the HTML file is used for displaying a screen on the client computer for prompting to input characters, and editing a printer function description file, in which a function of the printer is described, based on the characters inputted on the client computer when the inputted characters are transmitted from the client computer.
