Abstract

An optical transceiverincludes an optical devicewhich is provided upon a substrate, an optical connectorwhich is connected to an optical fiber, and a connector holderfor optically connecting together the optical device and the optical connector. The connector holderincludes an engagement meanswhich holds the optical connector. The engagement meansholds the optical connectorwhen the optical connectoris pressed in towards the substrate. The optical connectorsupports the optical fiberso that the optical axis of the optical fibersubtends a fixed angle with respect to the optical axis of the optical device. And the optical connectorincludes a mirrorfor optically connecting between the optical deviceand the optical fiber
