Abstract
The invention relates to a tripod head, in particular a camera tripod head, whereby the return moment for balancing the tipping moment generated by the tipping moment exerted by the camera may be generated as near as possible to a sine sine curve with a compact construction. Essentially stationary return springs () are used for the above. The tilting movement of an arrangement () supporting the camera is transmitted over a carrier () by a cable (), whereupon the pressure springs () are compressed and generate the necessary return moment.
