Abstract

The present invention relates to apparatus for detecting the heart rate of a fetus. The apparatus includes at least two detectors for detecting heart beats of the fetus, each detector comprising at least two electrodes for detecting ECG signals. A processor, which is coupled to the detectors, is used to process the ECG signals received from each detector and determine the heart rate of the fetus.
