Abstract

A method is proposed for setting an output voltage of a receiving circuit () of a receiving head () of a rail contact and a rail contact system for executing the method, at least one receiving voltage tapped from the receiving head () of the rail contact being superposed by at least one adjustment voltage to produce the output voltage. The adjustment voltage is tapped by a transformer circuit () from a transmitting circuit () of the rail contact as a voltage proportional to an electric current flowing in a transmitting coil () of the rail contact.
