Abstract

The present invention includes a microporous or mesoporous composition of matter in which the composition is formed continuously or semi-continuously in a heated reactor zone, including a rotary calciner or a rotary screw as a means for conveying the synthesis mixture, at a temperature between 200° C. and 500° C. with a residence time less than 24 hours. The reagents are solid and liquid reagents in which the solid reagents have a weight percent between 45% and 98% of the total reagents. The invention also includes a continuous or semi-continuous process for the hydrothermal manufacture of the microporous or mesoporous composition.
