Abstract
An electrical connector assembly () includes an electrical connector including an insulative housing () having opposite upper and lower surfaces, and a number of contacts received in the insulative housing and partially exposed beyond said upper and lower surfaces of the insulative housing to form upper and lower exposed sections, an upper cover () assembled to the upper surface of the insulative housing, and a lower cover () assembled to the lower surface of the insulative housing. The contacts are wholly received between the upper and lower covers without exposed outside.
