Abstract
A method and system for managing pushed data at a mobile unit include the capability to receive an out-of-band message at a mobile unit and analyze the message to determine if it contains pushed data. The method and system also include the capability to determine, if the message contains pushed data, whether the data is appropriate for a session currently being hosted by the mobile unit. The method and system further include the capability to post the data to the session if the data is appropriate for the session.
