A dew sensorfor detecting moisture in a space enclosing an optical pickup deviceis disposed in the vicinity of a pickup lensof an optical pickup deviceand on a partition wallon which a table rotation deviceis supported. According to the dew sensora phenomenon in which it becomes impossible to record and/or reproduce an information signal with respect to a disc shaped recording medium when the pickup lens of the optical pickup device becomes dim caused by a dew condensation will be avoided.
