Abstract
A recording apparatus comprising a recording portion for recording moving image data on a recording medium, a recording instruction portion for instructing start and temporary stop of recording the moving image data, a playlist processing portion for producing playlist data indicating a reproduction procedure of the moving image data of a plurality of clips recorded on the recording medium; and a control portion for displaying on a display device a representative image indicating each clip of the moving image data designated in the playlist during temporary stop of recording the moving image data.
