Abstract

The invention relates to novel triphendioxazine pigments of formula (I) wherein X represents hydrogen or chlorine, while Rrepresents phenyl substituted by one to five radicals from the group comprising C-C-alkyl, halogen, C-C-alkoxy, acetylamino, aminocarbonyl, methylaminocarbonyl and C-C-alkoxycarbonyl, or phenyl annelated in the 2,3- or 3,4- with a divalent radical of the formula —NH—(CO)—NR—, —CR═CH—CO—NH—, —CR═N—CO—NH—, —CO—NH—CO—NR—, —CO—(NH)—CO— or —O—(CO)—NH— so as to form a five- or six-membered ring, Rrepresenting hydrogen, methyl, ethyl or phenyl and m representing 1 or 2.
