Abstract
A coating composition is prepared by polymerizing an addition polymer with a Tof at least about 60° C. in the presence of a particulate pigment having substantially primary aggregate particles to form encapsulated pigment particles, isolating and drying the encapsulated pigment product, and combining the dried encapsulated pigment product with a coating vehicle.
