Abstract
A portable diesel fuel tester and a method of its use are provided. A sample of diesel fuel is placed in a sample tray of the tester. The diesel fuel is heated to a gas state and circulated to a SOsensor by an air pump. The SOsensor determines the level of sulfur in the diesel fuel based on the SOlevels. The sulfur level is displayed on an LCD screen for viewing by the user.
