Abstract

The invention relates to a system for downloading multimedia content via a mobile telephony network () to a terminal (), comprising a voice recognition device (), a database () connected to the network () and containing multimedia files. The terminal () transmits a voice request to the voice recognition device () and the voice recognition device () interprets the request that it receives. After the request has been received and interpreted by the voice recognition device (), one or more interpretation prompt(s) designating one or more file(s) contained in the database () are sent to the terminal (). The terminal is able to return a prompt selected, thereby bringing about the downloading of a file corresponding to the prompt selected from the database () to the terminal () via the mobile telephony network ().
