Abstract
A photosensitive drumis provided to carry electrostatic latent images. DevelopersK throughY supply toner to the electrostatic latent images formed on the photosensitive drum. Images formed on the photosensitive drumare transferred to an intermediate transfer belt. A primary transfer rollertransfers toner images formed on the photosensitive drumonto the intermediate transfer belt. The secondary transfer rollertransfers toner images on the intermediate transfer beltonto sheets. The belt cleaning unithas a fur brushthat electrically recovers toner, and recovers residual transfer toner remaining on the intermediate transfer beltafter a secondary transfer by the secondary transfer roller. The drive rolleris disposed in a position in opposition to the fur brushsandwiching the intermediate transfer belt, and charges both the fur brushand the secondary transfer roller
