Abstract

A flexible thermoplastic composition comprises poly(arylene ether); a plasticizer having an affinity for polyolefin; a polyolefin and a hydrogenated block copolymer of an alkenyl aromatic compound and a conjugated diene, wherein the polyolefin comprises (i) an ethylene/C-Calpha olefin copolymer having an alpha olefin content greater than or equal to about 10%, (ii) a thermoplastic vulcanizate (iii) a combination of linear low density polyethylene and a thermoplastic vulcanizate, (iv) a combination of an ethylene/C-Calpha olefin copolymer having an alpha olefin content greater than or equal to about 10%, a linear low density polyethylene, and a thermoplastic vulcanizate, (v) a combination of an ethylene/C-Calpha olefin copolymer having an alpha olefin content greater than or equal to about 10% and a thermoplastic vulcanizate or (vi) a combination of an ethylene/C-Calpha olefin copolymer having an alpha olefin content greater than or equal to about 10% and linear low density polyethylene.
