A fuel cell including at least one single cell C having an electrolyte, a fuel electrode, and an air electrode, wherein the single cell C is supported on a substrateand the electrolyteis disposed on a first surface of the substrate, with the fuel electrodeand the air electrodedisposed on the first surface of the substrateso as to sandwich the electrolyte.
