Abstract
An information recording medium (), provided with: a first recording layer (Llayer) and a second recording layer (Llayer) in which record information can be recorded; and a plurality of first block areas, each of which includes a recording area () of a first size on the first recording layer and a recording area () on the second recording layer located at a position facing the recording area of the first size on the first recording layer, and each of which is a unit by which the record information is recorded, at least one of the first recording layer and the second recording layer comprising a size area () to record therein first size information () which indicates the first size.
