Abstract

The device () for fast tissue processing for histological examination consists of a housing () that is covered by a transparent hood (). A baseplate () divides the device () into an upper part () and a lower part (). Several process chambers that are served by a transport mechanism () with holders () for tissue specimens are provided for on the baseplate (). At least one reservoir () is provided for in the lower part () of the device, which has a flow connection to at least one process chamber. An operating panel () allows the user to enter the appropriate data.
