Abstract
The apparatus for preparing data to generate simulation model extracts the analysis data of the parts required when a simulation is performed based on the CAD data of the parts forming a product to be processed, prepares data as a source of a simulation model of the product by combining the analysis data. The apparatus acquires the central coordinates of fine parts such as a screw, a screw hole, a boss and so on of the parts deleted from the analysis data, assigns a position name to them, and prepares data as a source of a simulation model by combining analysis data based on the position name and central coordinates.
