Abstract
The invention provides a modification to the operation of the intelligent network instruction set whereby on transmitting an Initiate Call Attempt message between the SCPand an SSPan instruction is included which forces the SSPto send a response message whereby the identity assigned to the actions requested is known to the SCPprior to the occurrence of a BCSM event at the SSP.
