Abstract
To achieve small-sized formation of a piezoelectric vibrator while preventing exciting electrodes provided at both faces of the piezoelectric vibrating piece from being shortcircuited to each other and enabling to fabricate the piezoelectric vibrating piece easily, there is provided a piezoelectric vibratorincluding a casein a shape of a bottomed cylinder having an opening portionand having a conductivity, a ringsubstantially in a cylindrical shape press-fitted to the opening portionof the caseand having a conductivity, one piece of a leadinserted to the ringand having an inner lead portionand an outer lead portion, a filling memberhaving an insulting property for sealing an interval between the leadand the ringin airtight, and a piezoelectric vibrating piecewhich is constituted by substantially a plate-like shape arranged at inside of the caseand includes exciting electrodesat both faces thereof and in which the exciting electrodeis supported by the inner lead portionby being subjected to bump connection with the inner lead portionof the leadand the exciting electrodeis subjected to wire bonding with the ring
