Abstract

Epimeredinoside A extracted fromroot, oral pharmaceutics made up with theroot extract and at least one pharmaceutical adjuvant, and preparatory method for the oral pharmaceutics. The root extract is the extracta sicca prepared by water extraction and concentration ofroot, and contains 0.10% to 1.50% of epimeredinoside A. The inventive pharmaceutics ofroot extract do not contain any hormone and progesterone is not needed to be taken to prevent a side effect after using the drug. The pharmaceutics has doubtless effect in treating female menopause.
