Abstract
A screw-centrifugal pump () comprises a pump housing () having an inlet opening () and also an impeller () arranged within the pump housing () and rotatable about an axis of rotation () in a direction of rotation (). The impeller () has a spirally extending blade entry edge () and a guide vane () projects into the interior space of the impeller () and is disposed in the region of the inlet opening (). A method of conveying a liquid permeated with solid additions using such a pump is also described and claimed.
