Abstract
The invention relates to a longitudinal guiding element for a motor vehicle seat, comprising two rail-type guide elements extending in the longitudinal direction of the seat, and a guiding device by which means one guide element can be displaced in the longitudinal direction of the seat in relation to the other guide element. According to the invention, a first sliding guide () is formed by a guiding slide () provided on one rail () and a guiding pin () provided on the other rail (), and the second sliding guide () is formed by a guiding pin () provided on one rail () and a guiding slide () provided on the other rail (). The two sliding guides are successively arranged in the longitudinal direction of the seat.
