Abstract
A steam generating apparatusincluding: a vaporizing container; a heaterfor heating the vaporizing container; a feed pumpfor feeding water from a reservoir tankinto the vaporizing container; a drain valvefor draining water out of the vaporizing containerthrough a drain pipe; a temperature detecting meansfor detecting temperature of the vaporizing container; and a controllerfor controlling the heater, the feed pump, the drain valve, and the like. After completion of steam generating operation, water remaining inside the vaporizing containeris drained after the temperature of the vaporizing containerhas lowered to 60° C.
