Abstract
A wireless terminal includes memory for storing a plurality of backgrounds, and a display for displaying data visible to a user. The terminal further includes a user interface configured to receive user selection of a background from the plurality of backgrounds, receive user selection of background color for which the background is to be displayed, and receive text input from a user. A controller may be used to compose a message having the text input, data relating to the background, and data relating to the background color. A transmitter is used to transmit the message to a receiving device via a wireless communication.
