Abstract
An apparatus () for measuring temperature using luminescence thermometry, comprising: a photon emitter () for providing photons () of at least a first frequency; photoluminescent material () that produces photons () of at least a second frequency in response to the incidence of photons () of the first frequency; one or more photon receivers (); and an optically dispersive element () for directing photons () of at least a second frequency produced by the photoluminescent material () into the photon receiver(s).
