Abstract
A sliderfor a slide fastenercomprises a slider bodywhich is slidable over elements of a slide fastenerto engage and disengage the elements, and a latch body, removably mounted on the slider body. The latch bodycomprises latching meansfor latching the sliderto a cooperating slider. A deflectable tongueon the latch bodyabuts a projectionon the slider bodyto prevent separation of the latch bodyfrom the slider bodywhen the tongueis at rest. When the tongueis deflected away from the projection, the latch bodyand the slider bodycan be separated.
